Full Description
A WWII Pillbox, built by June 1940, on the shore end of Eastern Arm. Built of reinforced concrete and has now been destroyed.(1) Another written source is, Dover Defence Scheme, June 1940: W0166/1343.
It is visible on aerial photography of Dover dating to 1940 (2) but is not visible on subsequent photographs suggesting it was removed shortly after the end of the war.
